The "Wallywich"

Bring the party with this massive party sandwich. Two pounds of meat, two loaves of bread, and those fancy foiled toothpicks... What's not to love? Named after my father and consumed by many, this sandwich is proven crowd pleaser.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 unsliced loaves of italian bread
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar (4 oz)
  • 3/4 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/4 cup mayo
  • 1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 lb thinly sliced ham
  • 1 lb thinly sliced roast beef
  • 12-14 thin slices of dill pickle (Sandwich slices)

Instructions
 

  • Cut bread in half length wise, then hollow out top and bottom leaving a half inch bread shell
  • combine cheeses, onion, mayo, and Worcestershire in a large bowl.
  • spread the mix over inside of both loaves of bread
  • layer ham and beef on bottom and top halves of bread
  • place pickles on bottom half
  • gently press halves together
  • wrap in plastic and refridge for 2 hours
  • For a party place toothpicks and cut into 1.5 inch slices
